Anchor's premise is that you can create, distribute, monetize your podcasts for free. Marketing claims that you can upload sound and easily 'Record with Friends'. Anchor also claims to provide editing and publishing tools that can help you get a handle on your podcast, even if you're an amateur. In spite of all these claims, using Anchor was a headache.
