On Today's Episode, we talk about our initial impressions to Netflix's continuation of the 2004 series of the same name that aired in Mexico. Then, we take a deep dive into the history of Rebelde, which was originally produced in Argentina as Rebelde Way, and explain how it never would have come to be without Nickelodeon. We've reviewed plenty of teen dramas before and called out their soapy moments, but this is a legitimate soap opera, and even if it doesn't reach an audience in the US, it'll probably find an audience elsewhere.
