John McKeown is the current manager of Shotts Bon Accord, in the West of Scotland Football League Premier Division, the sixth tier of Scottish football. Having started his career at Ipswich Town as a youngster, he would go on to establish himself in the lower leagues back home north of the border, before embarking on a coaching journey that would accumulate many a trophy and promotion. Gracing the pitches of Ayr United, Dumbarton, Cowdenbeath, Stenhousemuir and Cumnock Juniors in his playing days, John gives a superb insight into a club punching well above their weight deep in the depths of Scotland's football landscape.
