On this episode of the TMA Connection, we have an inspiring journey to present.  Born with Vater Syndrome and Spina Bifida, Ben Mayforth has truly lived through the struggles and adversities of life starting with multiple surgeries as a child.  Growing up with a physical disability has truly tested his resilience.  Through victories of becoming a state champion and being recruited as a Division 1 wheelchair athlete in basketball for the University of Missouri , the pressure of competition and life took it's toll in alcohol abuse and mental health issues.  Now Ben competes at the international level as a para climber.  He's now helping grow the sport and has also started his own personal training business Mayforth Made, LLC.
