When TLR was formed in 1994, Texas was known as the Wild West of Litigation. Unfortunately, that environment has crept back into our civil justice system. Texas now leads the nation in outrageously large verdicts in injury cases, known as Nuclear Verdicts. These are often handed down in cases in which the plaintiff was at fault or suffered little or no damage. Texas job creators are taking this unstable litigation environment into consideration before relocating to Texas.
