A redeemed household has nothing to offer but their need. Only in their need does a redeemer meet them. That's true of Ruth. Her redeemer, Boaz, worked only when she expressed her need. She had nothing else to offer. It's true of all who have been redeemed throughout the Scriptures and it is not different from any of us. We have nothing to offer but a complete need for rescue.
