Haliburton County is in cottage country about 2 1/2 hours north of Toronto and was first developed in the mid-1800's. This week Kate and Paul talk about the American colony on Moore Lake in the late 1800's plus the first Trans-Atlantic flight from Newfoundland to Ireland in 1919 - only 16 years after the Wright brother's first flight.
