Episode Synopsis "Intro Episode | Why This Podcast?"
Hello, I am Max Zhang, your host for this Podcast, and I am a staff member at the Tilghman International Student Center at Drew University. We know for language learners who are not native to English, learning English is hard, and being witty in English is even tougher. During Drew Virtual Times, we are offering all our international students this podcast for you to learn a couple of interesting phrases every week, understand whether they can be used in an academic setting or not, and to learn a bit about the culture behind these phrases. Each episode, we invite one of our ESL faculty to the show, and we also open the floor to all our students to learn and to participate in the conversation as well. We go live every Wednesday at noon with our students and faculty and will post the episode right after. I hope you enjoy the show! Now, on to the learning!
