Learning how to fly and becoming a private pilot has been on my bucket list for a long time.
In this episode, I talk about some of the things that were made very apparent once I finished my private pilot check ride and received my certificate. This is not a lesson, but some insight from someone who recently earned the certificate.
1) This can be expensive, but there are accessible ways to make it happen and it's totally worth it when you earn it.
2) Money is just one cost. The time you spend outside of flying and actually studying is a lot more than I was ready for.
3) If I didn't have my great instructor or flight school, I might be in a different spot now.
