In this Breast Cancer Awareness Month episode of, Thrivin' in Color, host Camry Brown welcomes Reona Berry, co-founder and CEO of the African American Breast Cancer Alliance (AABCA). What began as a personal search for support led Reona to unite with eight other Black women to form AABCA, a Minnesota-based organization dedicated to providing culturally specific information, resources and peer support for Black women, men and families affected by breast cancer. The alliance also creates a space where Black women can connect, share and support each other through their journey of survival.
