Listen "7: Tracey's Journey into an Additive-Free Lifestyle"
Episode Synopsis
The tables are turned and it is Tracey's turn to be interviewed and tell her story. This episode of The Whole Circle podcast explains how Tracey, little by little, bit by bit slowly transitioned her families way of eating.
She gets grilled by Jo about her journey into additive free eating and how it all came about. Tracey's story is very different from Jo's and her path to additive free eating started very differently. Tracey has never had issues with food, her kids have never had behavioural issues (related to food anyway, lol) so her choice to eat additive and preservative free is simply that, a choice.
But, and this is a massive but, her choice to live additive and preservative free has certainly had it's benefits. Her family are very rarely sick, there are no major skin issues with either of her (hormonal) teenage daughters, she noticed that her kids now eat a wider range of food and will often ask for things they wouldn't have touched a few years ago (like curried chicken pies or butter chicken).
Tracey tells how the choice to eat additive free has changed her life.
And takes you through, step by step, how she gradually changed her pantry, a little bit at the time. She also speaks about how she copes with resistant teenage girls and a hubby who thought she was nuts!
