GROVE HILL — KnockOut Addiction, a Clarke County nonprofit dedicated to preventing drug use and supporting recovery, received a ,000 check from the Clarke County Commission on Monday. Founder Sonja Overstreet said the funds will help further the organization’s mission to expand recovery housing and support services for women overcoming addiction. “We have plans to convert the garage in our women’s recovery home into an extra bedroom,” Overstreet said. “We are also saving for a graduate home.” A graduate home serves as a recovery residence for women who have reached a point in their sobriety where their children can safely...Article Link
