ThismeansWAR! is a thirty-something squarepusher and mashup-artist from Oslo that feels weird when having to write in third person. Growing up in a family of jazz musicians he got an early start fiddling with synthesizers and drum machines in his dads studio. When he got his sticky fingers on a Casio FZ-1 sampler at age eleven his fate as a music geek was sealed. After being introduced to the harder side of the drum&bass genre - "neurofunk" at the turn of the century there was no going back. He has spent the past eight years playing and promoting DNB-nights in Oslo as well as running the label "Dub Monkey Records" alongside Tony Anthem from "Future Prophecies".
