How does cutting the Police Department's budget solve racism?  Is this how we thank them for protecting us during the riots?  How about taking out the Mayor's protective detail and take him out of his bubble?
Racism or Police Brutality?  One is a matter of perception, how we perceive and relate to each other while the other as a matter or training and policy which is far more practical to solve.
All this, starts at home.   
I think it is more important to make headway in our own house,  by the time the system comes into play, the damage is done - Denzel Washington
