Listen "Lara Andallo"
Episode Synopsis
We’re chatting with Lara Andallo, the talented Filipino-Australian musician who just released her latest EP "Diamonds and Deja Vu" on the opening day of Sydney World Pride. This EP showcases Lara's musical range, with a beautiful blend of jazz, pop, and 2000s RNB influences, and addresses issues that are close to her heart, particularly in the lead single "Year 3000," which explores a future where equality is no longer a political talking point. We dive into the sonic inspirations behind this EP, and how Lara's personal experiences have influenced her songwriting. Lara shares with us how a dance injury shifted her focus back to music, and reveals some of the best feedback she ever received from none other than Ed Sheeran. We also discuss the fun and dorky side of Lara that fans may not be familiar with yet.Lara Andallo: Instagram / Facebook / SpotifyCatch Lara on tour here. Thanks again to Lara Andallo for her time.
