Episode Synopsis

That's right! Jess & Devin are back again (sorry, haters). In this epic and painfully theatrical 7th episode of TPJMCYL, Jess Westman chats with composer and lyricist Keith Gordon (Saint Heaven, The Shadow Sparrow, The Wedding Night) about hope, making musical theater, and the power of storytelling. A graduate of the University of Colorado where he studied under Argentine composer Luis Jorge González, Keith went on to join the BMI Lehman Engel Workshop under the guidance of legends like Maury Yeston and Skip Kennon. From writing jingles for brands like Max Factor and Cosmopolitan in '80s New York, to collaborating with Tony-winning vocalists such as Chuck Cooper and Anne Marie David, Keith's career spans decades, countries, and genres. His work has been featured at the Eugene O'Neill, selected as Pick of the Fringe in Hollywood, and—according to him right before they hit record—nothing has topped joining the podcast that just might change your life.
