Listen "42: This is the Stockton Maritime Museum"
Episode Synopsis
The USS Lucid was one of many “Aggressive Class” minesweeping ships that served the US Navy through the 50s, 60s and 70s. Amy’s father, David Rajkovich, has been restoring the Lucid right here in Stockton as part of the Stockton Maritime Museum. David joins Wes and Amy on today’s episode to talk about the history of this ship, why these minesweeping ships were built the way they were and how the restoration process has been going so far. David also discusses the Open House at the Maritime Museum on April 27th and 28th.
