Listen "Think Win Win"

Episode Synopsis

From our childhood, we see that most games we play are zero-sum games. That is, in order to win it is a requirement that the other person/ other party loses the game. So to win a game both in sports and in life we start focusing on capabilities which help us win the game. Slowly we also start playing games to make sure that the other person is lost every time he or she plays with you. This approach may be good in some types of sports but in the open world, it doesn't work in the long-run. We all need partners and teams who compliment us and thus winning is not a one side phenomenon but a journey of synergy.
The execution of ideas is possible by co-creation and co-operation with not one but sometimes several members. With a worldview of abundance, we can see that there is something for everyone. It is a positive-sum game where both can win. So the best philosophy in an open world is that of "Win-Win" or "No Deal". This approach is very well constructed as the Fourth Habit in the book "Seven Habits of Highly Effective People" by Dr Stephen R. Covey.
