It was supported by all three political parties when the Iain Rankin Liberals introduced it in 2019. And current Environment Minister Tim Halman appeared ready to put all of the drafted regulations into effect last spring. What happened? And why did the Nova Scotia Government say more consultation was needed after two years of study, discussion and input by individuals and non-government agencies? And why do we need this Act now?
