This is part of my archived podcast when I did interviews for obstacle course racing. The reason I have added this episode is because of the grit and determination it took Ken to survive.

I had the privilege of interviewing Ken Jones the author of Darkness Descending. Ken went on a winter trip to Romania and got caught up in an avalanche which resulted in horrific injuries. He had to crawl, hobble and survive without food for 3 days before he got to a small village and was able to get help.

He survived after multiple surgeries and created the successful Fan Dance endurance event in the Brecon Beacons which I attended for a number of years. Its a brutal event which I loved and hated at the same time.
