Episode 3 of “These Are Your Neighbors” features Megan Mann. Megan struggled with substance use from the time she was 14 until the age of 31, when she entered Hope Manor, a sober living home. At Hope Manor, she attained the structure, stability and support she needed to fight to save her life.Since then, Megan has been in the front row seat to many miracles and tragedies because of addiction. Megan has continued to support Hope Manor by volunteering and then eventually gaining employment through them. She is currently the Executive Director of Hope Manor and has chosen to pay it forward to the next individual for the life-changing treatment she received that helped her gain her life back.Megan was born and raised in Dickinson. After graduating high school, she attended North Dakota State University, where she earned a BS in psychology and a MS in clinical psychology. At the age of 29 her parents took her in as she was unable to provide for herself and her disease was progressing. For 2 years she resided with her parents as they watched her deteriorate from a once promising individual into someone who was hardly recognizable, suffering from a hopeless state of mind and body. Megan entered She entered Hope Manor on 2014 and was blown away by the love she received from women she hadnever met. Hope Manor held her in a safe and sober environment while she began to heal. Megan has held a number of roles at Hope Manor. In October of 2022 she was hired as the Director. Hope Manor has never asked her to pay back what was given to her, but instead to pay it forward to the next suffering individual. Her goal today is to give hope to the hopeless.
