Listen "Episode 59: Arnold Cantus Descriptive Problem-Based Taxonomy"
Episode Synopsis
LINKArnold Cantu is a doctoral student at the University of Colorado and has been a licensed social worker for over 10 years. Like many of us, during his practice years he has developed some concerns over the current descriptive and diagnostic terms and labels. He's come to believe there are better ways to describe and treat client issues than ascribing catch-all labels, for a variety of reasons, including just to get paid. Moving this behemoth of a legacy system will not be easy, but Arnold's propositions build on the ideas of others, and it's a start!
