Fr. Ian Elliot Davies is canon of the diocese of Los Angeles, dean of the incarnation deanery, and rector of St. Thomas the Apostle Hollywood, an Episcopal parish in the Anglo-Catholic tradition, located in the heart of Hollywood. Kyle Leon Henderson is a member of the vestry of St. Thomas the Apostle Hollywood, an actor, podcast host, writer, and comedian. Together, Fr. Davies and Kyle come together to discuss the unique theology of the Episcopal Church as a whole, digging deeper into the Anglo-Catholic traditions in which St. Thomas the Apostle Hollywood adhere to. In this series, they will also delve into the history of this church and its people, and discuss their remarkable place in the history of Los Angeles and the Episcopal Church.In the earliest month of the COVID-19 pandemic, the idea of a podcast had been bounced around to different members of the newly-formed Digital Discipleship ministry at St. Thomas. And this show was born. For the first three seasons, it was only available on YouTube, but after three seasons, the hosts were blown away by its popularity and resonance with such a diverse following. In preparation for the fourth season, it was decided that the show should have the opportunity to reach an even broader audience. So the "Theologically Speaking" team decided to launch the show on all major podcast platforms.
