From sea to Norman Sea – well, maybe that’s a bit of an overstatement, but from the late 11th century through the end of the 12th century you could find Norman culture from the North Sea to the eastern end of the Mediterranean. In this episode, Ken and Glen discuss how after a century and a half of expansion starting in 911, the Normans assimilated into conquered regions – and how their actions resonate to the present.
