Questions:

Comprehension: In this parable, who does the sower represent? What does the seed represent? What do the different soils represent?

Interpretation: Explain the difference between each of the 4 soil/heart types. How would you describe these 4 types of people in your own words?

Application: Which of the 4 soil types best represents your heart right now? Be honest and specific.

Interpretation: Who or what is it that tills and shapes our hearts into good soil so that the Word of God can take root? Explain your answer.

Application: Practically, how can you go about examining your heart to see which type of soil you are?

Application: How can this group pray for you? How can we help you stay ready to hear and receive the Word of God?
