Brothers @Karlpmeier and @ken-meier grew up in the 90s in Chicago where they experienced the storied peak of midwest rave culture. This collaborative mix, recorded live for a radio broadcast, highlights their skill as DJs in this tradition. Karl has long been working on the fringes of electronic music and each record he makes is well worth owning. His first project, "The Great Traitor" on Remnant, only hinted at what was to come—his current project, Talker (with Jon Krohn), has several records on seminal UK imprint Downwards, and just last week the duo released a remix EP on their new label Standards & Practices, featuring mixes from Surgeon, Regis, and Broken English Club.
