Marcel Spears (CBS's The Neighborhood, ABC's The Mayor) is an up-and-coming actor, singer, and writer to watch. Originally from New Orleans, Marcel studied the theatrical arts at Prairie View A&M University before earning an MFA in acting from Columbia University in 2015. He’s performed extensively in the Houston and New York theater circuits, and recently made his Old Globe debut as part of the starry and notably diverse cast of Picasso at the Lapin Agile, the hit intellectual comedy penned by Steve Martin.
