Listen "The Importance of Dissatisfaction"
Episode Synopsis
Hey there! In this week’s episode I start by giving my tea talk, a life update and some current favourites. Then, I begin giving some general ideas regarding dissatisfaction. Afterwards, I analyse how human beings tend to react to it— and how to change that. I also mention the nature of dissatisfaction, and wrap up by summarising a few main points.

Here are some quotes I liked from this week’s episode:
“We don’t like the idea that we could be doing more”
“We really don’t like thinking that we’re bad, that we could have done more, that we slacked off, it’s just uncomfortable to think about”
“When we think that we’re doing everything well, and somehow realise we actually aren’t, our first choice is usually the most comfortable”
“You need to have these honest conversations with yourself”
“It’s you, and you want the best for you, but sometimes you need to have a really honest look”
“Force yourself to confront the doubts that begin to arise”
“Make a true commitment and hold yourself accountable”
“Dissatisfaction comes from our human desire to be the best”
“We need to learn to understand these emotions and build a life that includes them”
“Take that hurtful energy and transform it into something that will benefit you and make you proud”
Thanks for tuning in, have a beautiful week!
