Listen "Stephen Bush event: making it in political journalism"
Episode Synopsis
New Statesman political editor Stephen Bush talks to Young Fabian national executive committee member Stella Tsantekidou about how to make a career as a UK political journalist. Having previously worked at the Telegraph, and with a brief stint at an (impossibly under-frequented) London bookshop, Stephen talks candidly of his experiences, skills and lack thereof. The talk is followed by a Q&A with Young Fabian members who ask probing questions to the man who first predicted Corbyn's leadership election. Fascinating stuff. Please follow Stephen Bush at @stephenkb on Twitter, in the New Statesman https://www.newstatesman.com/writers/stephen_bush , and in the Guardian https://www.theguardian.com/profile/stephen-bushStella Tsantekidou has been an elected member of the Young Fabians national executive committee since 2018, in the role of Parliamentary Liaison Officer.
