Our guests are David Davies, CWS, President of Aqua General, Inc. and WQA Government Affairs Manager Jordan Kari. We discuss how WQA and its members in Texas were able to work together to change the City of Houston’s specialty plumbing code which contained a provision mandating a double-check valve assembly for all water softeners to protect against cross-connection. It was an unnecessary provision which ended up costing consumers. WQA member Bog Ruhstorfer was also heavily involved, but was unable to join us for the podcast.
