Episode Synopsis
Our guest is Dr. Emily Kumpel with the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She discusses the new WQRF Sustainability Comparison study, which compares Point of Use and Point of Entry water treatment with centralized treatment in small community water systems across the United States.
We talk with Dr. Kumpel about the WQRF study, which contaminants she will track when it comes to the effectiveness of POU and POE, and what the long term benefits will be. And later, we’ll get a regulatory update from Kathleen Burbidge. Plus, we’ll have our WQA tip.
