Listen "Resting is not lazy"
Episode Synopsis
As a child, whenever I was lounging around, my Mum would say 'If you're not doing something, I will find you something to do'. I recall phrases like 'Only dumb people do nothing', 'Successful people keep working' and 'Smart people are always busy', being used often.
This created a belief that in order to be good at my job, smart, intelligent, or successful, I needed to be busy all the time. Whilst I am aware of this, and have tried hard to overcome it, every now and then it creeps in. Business gets me. I forget to rest.
This was definitely the case this week. Listen to this episode to hear more one this and how to learn to rest without the guilt or worry that you are not doing a good enough job.
