This week Ben and I sat down with a man we know as Uncle Dave. Dave hurled midfield for Wexford on the 1968 All Ireland winning team and at just 20 years of age, was the youngest man on the field. He also won 3 Leinster titles and a National hurling league with Wexford as well as a Railway Cup with Leinster.

Dave was a selector with the Wexford Snr Team from 89 to 94 and has always played a vital role for Wexford in the background raising finances and lending his support wherever he can.
