 Kat explains that emotional resilience is a requirement of life in order to survive and move forward and how this has been one of her main struggles in life.
That sensitive people tend to be more affected by others but that it shows how caring, beautiful a person you are but this may leave you to being hurt often. 
Kat shares the story of when her resilience was being tested by workplace bully in a Radiotherapy department, how she handled it, what it taught her and how she's been able to move on from this.
How even in the darkest moments there is always a silver lining, always a lesson and an opportunity for personal growth.
If anyone is mean to you they are not actually upset with you, you have highlighted something within them that they've not yet faced or an insecurity they may have and are their trigger. 
Our difficult experiences are designed to make us stronger and provide us with the lessons we need for this.
When you reach a place of compassion for the person that's hurt you and no longer have strong emotions about what happened, this means you have grown personally and learned.
In Psychology resilience is known as 'Positive Adaptation' being able to choose to respond positively to a situation and in a way that serves you best. Kat shares her thought process on adapting positively.
Building a strong relationship with and seeking to better understand yourself will help you to not only engage more effectively with the world, but will also lead to having more compassion for others.
