Zera, who affectionately goes by her longtime moniker Z, is the owner and founder of Compass Collective.  Compass Collective is an independent bookshop and community rooted in diverse, inclusive, and healing-centered engagement. The experiences in both her personal and professional life shed light on the importance of representation and the power that lies within community.  Books were the gateway into her own healing journey and now Z strives to create a safe space where books, empathy, support, and peace can coalesce and coexist together, in community.  In addition to her recent endeavor into the world of entrepreneurship, Zera is an Optometrist and a Certified Healing-Centered Engagement Practitioner.
