He presented to his readers the heart of the gospel. We are justified freely by His grace through redemption that is in Christ Jesus.The gospel of Jesus Christ leaves no room for boasting. Man is not justified by the law or works; we are justified by deeds apart from the law. Paul will now show that justification by faith in Christ alone is the universal remedy for all of mankind and that it honors the law.
