Episode Synopsis

Send us a textThis passage has such a strong message for the church today. What ails you was the question to Juday then. What ails us is the question to the church today. We as a church have transgressed in so many ways. We have left our first love through so many seemingly small acts of disobedience that gradually turned in to large acts of transgression. Leaders filled with pride and indifference, congregations filled with those addicted to comfort have allowed watered down doctrines to flow through the church giving rise to compromise, corruption and death. The end result being a last days church that wallows in vile apostasy. Yet at the same time, the vast majority of the church is joyous. Many are feasting when they should be fasting. Talk of a great last days revival and the blessed abundant life monopolize the focus of the church. Many give lip service to the return of Christ but in reality they cling to this world like Lots wife. We know that we are living in the last days. We know that God's judgment is upon us. Yet we seem to be trusting in everything but God. We say we trust in God but if we are not living in obedience to Jesus Christ and His word regardless of cost of consequence, then we are clearly trusting in everything but God.Obedience is the litmus test concerning our total trust in God.In these last days will we truly live in obedience to Jesus Christ and His word? Will we humbly repent when the Holy Spirit lovingly convicts us to do so? Are we willing to live a life that truly declares our deep conviction that we are living in the last days and that the return of Christ is at hand?Contact Paul at [email protected] Sunday May 5th, we have changed locations and will meet on Sundays at 10 am.
