This shows and examples for us the great spiritual maturity and discipline of Joseph. Joseph had long forgiven his brother for the great evil that they committed against him. But his brothers needed to repent of this great evil. Both forgiveness and repentance must be present for godly reconciliation to take place.God has done an amazing work in Joseph, his brothers and his father Jacob over the past 22 years.
