Send us a textHere we look at the familiar account of Daniel and the lion's den. While it is familiar, it is filled with much that we can still learn from.Daniel was a righteous man. He was a man in whom was an excellent spirit. Accusation concerning his integrity was impossible. Instead, his enemies created a law that would prevent him from worshipping the LORD. In this, they knew that Daniel would obey God rather than man. As a result, they would be able to murder him in the lion's den.Daniel was a godly man. A man who had been faithful for decades. How is that Daniel could faithfully obey God and end up in the lion's den? Paul tells in in II Timothy 3:12 Yes, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. Going through trials and tribulations will often be the result of righteous living. God allows trials and tribulations into our lives so that we may be formed into a vessel of honor through which He will display His glory.Are we prepared to obey God rather than man?
