He is a forensic science teacher at University High School in Waco, a graduate student at Baylor University, and founder of Comic Fest Waco. Comic Fest Waco has a mission of improving literacy by using comics and graphic novels to keep and hold students' attention. In this edition we will hear about the need to improve literacy and academic research which supports the mission of the event. The inaugural edition of Comic Fest Waco will be held April 5, 2025 at University High School.
