He talks about growing up around motorsport through his dad’s racing, then going racing himself in motocross, karting and Formula Ford – the latter in an RF87 Van Diemen previously raced by F1 star Eddie Irvine! He also talks about jumping on a trampoline with then-Formula BMW racer Daniel Ricciardo, his persistence in pursuing a sponsor that went on to back him all the way into V8 Supercars, as well as a hilarious tale where he very bluntly brushed off someone he believed was in a Development Series rival’s entourage, only to find out it was a top V8 team owner!
