“Most of our families are starving for fathers, even if Dad is around, and there’s a huge cost to our children and our society because of it.” -Doug Wilson // Father Hunger
Modern culture knows little of biblical father-rule. In fact, modern culture would rather do away with it altogether. How do we, as ones who bear the image of the Perfect Father, embrace this battle? How do we encourage a faithful approach to manhood and womanhood in a world that wants nothing to do with such “narrow-minded, sexist, bigotry?”
The battle starts with understanding what God actually says about men, women, and their created order. Once we know our place, we can begin to shape the culture around us. The reality is, everyone is starving for this sort of life-giving order. They’re just looking in all the wrong places.
