Jim Thompson was born in Edmonton Alberta. He was drafted to the Washington Capitals and has played for The Whalers, Devils, LA Kings, Senators, and the Ducks.Jim shares his story of finding freedom in the Lord throughout his life. There were key people that encouraged and influenced him in the NHL, including Mike Gartner and Laurie Boschman.Today Jim is the owner of the Junior A Aurora Tigers. He is also a motivational speaker and has a training program for youth called JT Prospects.
