God is light and in Him is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5, NKJV). There is never a battle between light and darkness because wherever light is, darkness won't be. In today's episode, Rick and Judi discuss how Jesus destroyed the enemy. The enemy was defeated at the Cross. Often, the book of Revelation is used to promote fear about end times, but the book is the revelation of Jesus Christ. God said all the earth would be filled with His glory and of the increase of His government and of peace, there would be no end. God is not at war with man. When Jesus came. peace and good will towards man was declared.
For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea. (Habakkuk 2:14, NKJV)
Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end (Isaiah 9:7, NKJV)
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!" (Luke 2:13-14, NKJV)
