All humor arises when the expected does not take place. But expectation comes from our generalizations we use to make decisions. These generalizations are racializations and thus, all comedy relies on knowing stereotypes, and yes, they are all racist.  So, how is this a good thing? Interestingly, there are benefits to having a healthy culture of comedy no matter how many people are offended.
