Our school once had a "crossover" collaboration with the business school where students were challenged to come up with innovative ideas to solve real world problems. Where the other classes had the SAME ideas semester after semester, our class has some ideas which horrified the judges. It was perfect. Because out of the box ideas are often considered dangerous and scary. They usually are, but some ideas are what some people were waiting for. We need More Freedom for MORE low-cost creativity... just like we had in the old days.
