Listen "Valuable Life Lessons: My Sibling with Cerebral Palsy"

Episode Synopsis

On this episode I share with you some wonderful life lessons that I have learned from my very special sibling with cerebral palsy. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t appreciate what he has and continues to teach me on a daily basis. So I thought I would share with you what I have learned so far as we look together at life through his eyes. At birth, my step brother was hypoglycemic (had low blood sugar), suffered brain damage, and was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. He was so easy to care for and to be around. And to this day, 50 years later, at age 55, this has not changed. He still is the most pleasant easy going carefree person I know. Here are the 7 Lessons I have learned:1-Routine2-Being present3-In person connection 4-Beginner mind5-Vibration of others6-Honesty7-Judging a book by its coverEarn CME:Reflect on how this Podcast applies to your day-to-day and earn AMA PRA Category 1 CMEs here:https://earnc.me/3plg2eCheck out StressFreeMD:https://www.stressfreemd.net/Schedule your FREE 30-Minute Stress Relief Strategy Call:https://go.oncehub.com/StressReliefStrategyCallGet your 4 FREE stress relieving videos:https://www.stressfreemd.net/free-self-care-videosPhysicians: join our free private physicians-only Facebook group:https://www.facebook.com/groups/thephysiciansselfcarecommunityFollow me on Instagramhttps://www.instagram.com/stressfreemd/Connect with me on LinkedInhttps://www.linkedin.com/in/robyntigermd/Follow me on Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/robyntigermdFollow me on Twitter:https://twitter.com/robyntigermdExclusive physician CME accredited programming: Rx Inner Peacehttps://www.stressfreemd.net/rxinnerpeaceSelf-Care Shop--accredited programs for healthcare and open to everyonehttps://www.stressfreemd.net/selfcareshopPrivate 1:1 Coachinghttps://www.stressfreemd.net/[email protected] website:https://www.podpage.com/the-stressfreemd-podcast/
