Super excited to announce new guest, Big Mamma, to The Story!A Las Vegas transplant, Melanie Verdi is excited to be part of the Central Pennsylvania music scene, especially the Lancaster area. She was recently part of the 2022 East Pete Summer Festival sitting in with local blues and rock bands at various events while working as a Studio Session Vocalist.During one of her earliest shows in Vegas, Melanie “brought the house down” with her dynamic vocal range and was affectionately name Big Mamma due to her powerful performance so she still uses it today as an homage to her blues, and gospel background.Melanie’s Las Vegas debut came after a chance encounter in an elevator at the Rio Casino.
