Episode Synopsis "Kenton Lee - How small things can make a big difference - The Shoe That Grows"
By volunteering in an orphanage in Kenya, Kenton Lee noticed children had shoes way too small for them or no shoes at all. He then designed a shoe that expands five sizes and lasts for years. To date, more than 300,000 pairs have been distributed to children living in poverty. In this episode, Kenton recalls the journey and early struggles of creating a social product and launching a social enterprise. He also shares his experience of manufacturing shoes in Kenya, launching a social enterprise incubator for global entrepreneurs to design products that alleviate poverty and his concept of "Practical Compassion".
