Episode Synopsis

In today's Podcast, we remind you that today is this Summer Solstice, with the most daylight of any day of the year.
Our quote of the day is another by Thomas Sowell on why using facts when debating ignorant people with a sense of moral superiority wastes your time.
In the stupidest thing I've heard all week, we'll tell you about a government agency that fined itself a quarter of a million dollars for cutting down some trees without a permit.
We'll play a 30-second clip from the old TV show Mayberry RFD where Sheriff Taylor (Andy Griffith) explains why you can't let children make permanent, life-altering decisions at such a young age. You can listen to that clip here: https://www.tiktok.com/@woopigsumo/video/7107064189906210091?lang=en.
We'll explain why the Monday morning news story about "3 mass shootings over the Juneteenth weekend" disappeared from the network newscasts in less than 24 hours.
We'll tell you about an incident where 20 armed IRS agents showed up at a Montana sporting goods store and what they took with them when they left.
It's been less than a week since the owner of the two most prominent hotels in San Francisco walked away from those properties, and now the owner of the largest shopping mall in that city has told its bank they are abandoning that mall which now has a store vacancy rate greater than 50%
In putting things into perspective, we'll remind you how much Trump asked to build the US/Mexico border wall and how much cities like New Your are asking for Federal aid to house, feed & care for illegal immigrants. The wall would have been a bargain.
We'll briefly comment on the sweetheart plea deal that was given to Hunter Biden to settle the two felony charges of willful tax evasion and the felony charge of illegal possession of a handgun. Some people I know have gotten stiffer penalties for speeding tickets they have received.
Our taxpayer relief shot comes to us from Houston, where a homeowner winds up in a shootout with two armed thugs in his yard at 3:00 AM.
